JUDICIAL AFFAIRS
The Office of Judicial Affairs serves as the central authority for upholding and administering the Student Conduct Code, under the guidance of the Vice President for Student Affairs and in collaboration with the Judicial Committee. This code outlines a set of guiding principles and expectations that define the behavior expected from our student body. It assumes compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, adherence to university guidelines, and respect for the rights of all individuals. This office is responsible for investigating and adjudicating alleged violations of the Conduct Code. In doing so, our aim is to align outcomes with the broader interests of both the university and its community while prioritizing fairness, procedural integrity, and educational enlightenment. The role of Judicial Affairs extends beyond rule enforcement to actively fostering a safe and conducive environment for academic and residential life. We mandate that students meet the highest standards of personal conduct and maintain a system that holds individuals accountable through disciplinary review and record-keeping. At Allen University, we believe that the true measure of a student's quality goes beyond academic performance; it is also visible in how they manage their personal conduct and interact with the community at large.
All students are encouraged to read and become familiar with the Student Handbook and the Student Code of Conduct.
