Meet Jamaica's Poet Laureate

Kwame Dawes is the author of thirty-five books of poetry as well as other books of fiction and essays. Dawes was named the Poet Laureate of Jamaica in 2024. You will hear his story, one that is a balance between imagination, exploration, reflection, and a love for language.
