Student Learning Outcomes

 The Office of Student Financial Aid staff has identified the following Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) for the various services provided by the Financial Aid staff:

  • SLO#1:  Students will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Satisfactory Academic Progress "SAP" Policy for financial aid and apply that knowledge to their academic situation and/or circumstances.

  • SLO#2:  Current and prospective students will learn and understand they types, sources, and amounts of financial aid available, the applications required, and the deadlines. 

  • SLO#3:  Student who take out a loan will gain understanding of the requirements, right and responsibilities, and repayment obligations associated with acquiring a federal student loan.

  • SLO#4:  Know the importance of applying early, submitting forms, and meeting deadlines for successfully applying for financial aid.
